Train them early, they'll be set for life

With my daughter, I started her in some sports at the YMCA. She played basketball and soccer. As time went on. she loved playing both sports, so I kept signing her up. She tried dance for a while, but didn't like it, so I didn't force her to do it.   When she entered middle school, she quit playing soccer to concentrate on school sports. She played volleyball, basketball and ran track. She did very well in all 3 sports, with myself and my husband at her games to support her. That is how I got my daughter be so athletic. Find something they like, then keep them into it.

With her grades. Lauren has always been a 4.0 student. Yes she may be smart, but if you give them to the drive and confidence to succeed, then they will. I always made sure shed try her best. [Nothing Less then the best!] She always tried, and did well. Id always reward her for her good doings. Take her out for ice cream after a good day of school, or give her presents for good grades. Simple things like that.

Overall, I am very happy with how my daughter is today. She is very mature and very smart.  I love her to death.
